Chaddha and D’Souza families have been friends for as long as they can remember celebrating Diwali and Christmas together with equal gusto. But when Anjali Chaddha and Steven D’Souza fall in love, the friendship goes kaput. Anjali and Steven elope and get married. Many years later, a young man named Raja (Anil Kapoor) claiming to be son of Anjali and Steven comes to meet his maternal and paternal grandparents. Quite evidently, he is cold shouldered by all. Over the time, he manages to win over his grandparents of both sides but not Jassi chachu and Moses uncle who doubt Raja’s actual intentions. In the meantime, a girl named Radha (Shilpa Shetty) lands in Raja’s house and claims to be his wife leaving Raja baffled. With so much anonymity around, will Raja be able to bring the two estranged families together? What actually does Raja want? Who is Radha?
