How does the group thing work/
Do people Ask and Answer Questions like in Yahoo!Answers?
Can anybody enter a group and answer a question without becoming a group member?
Anything else I should know about?
Ideally I’d like the group’s calendar merged with my yahoo calendar. This way I dont need to log into the group, select calendar each time just to check on up comming events.

Yowee I hope ya get lots of good, informative answers and I’ll check back. Course ya probly wouldn’t let me in, but I’d behave I promise.
I agree, there should be a way (like in the e-mail format) to return to the previous format. I have found the ‘new’ way totally unusable and many folks in my groups are complaining – it’s not just me! Interestingly, my view changed but a couple others have said theirs remained the same.
So, they can respond to messages, but I can’t. What a pain. Oh, and if you click on HELP in the new screen it has no answers, only directions how to set-up a new Yahoo group. Ugh.
you can’t personally, but you could get in touch with yahoo and ask them to change you back…
(you might want a reason rather than ‘because it’s awful’ – eg if your group requires reply-to-sender rather than reply-all which is the only setting for new format groups?)
never could it be changed when they’ve ever done updates, so I’m pretty sure you can not.
