- neutering your dog – where did you get your information from?

Border Colllie mix or just a Border Collie!
What you described is a Labrador Retreiver
you should take a survey at: http://www.iams.com/iams/breed-information.jsp?gclid=CM7ujb_fyqACFRIcswod-zgOZg it’s a survey to see what dog is best for you. But remember, every dog is different. So a dog can’t ever be PERFECT. -GOOD LUCK!
Labrador Retreiver
*It meets all requierments*
I should know I have one
This isn’t a breed issue. All dogs can be healthy and playful..just depends on how much work you are willing to put into them.
Short hair..most of them..medium hair..herding type dogs.
As for good around people and other dogs..depends on how much you train the dog.
As for tricks, again, depends on how much work you are going to put into it.
Protective? No. You don’t want that. If you want to teach a dog to attack on command, that’s fine, but anything else isn’t. You’ll find that “protective” dogs will snap at and bite the friends of your kids if they make one wrong move. Then that’s the end of the dog…generally. You don’t want your dog becoming aggressive and attacking people that walk by. Best advice is to learn karate, use a gun, etc. if you need protection against assailants.
True story. A guy broke into a gal’s house to rape her. Her dog attacked the guy. The guy shoved a knife in the dog’s head, killing the dog, and proceeded to rape the gal.
So, learn self defense, buy a gun, etc.
A border collie or stafforshire bull terrier or straight back german shepherd, I would say labrodor because there great but there back legs get really bad and they arnt protective but it all depends on how you raise him/her, but they have the most personality, good luck choosing your dog.
