im 17 and graduating this year
my original intentions were to go into a architectural major
but i been hearing recently that the housing market has been going down so im assuming the demand for architects will also go down……
so my worry is what if im going into the wrong career?
what other career is in demand or sucessful and why?
what could i major in instead?

everything is really cyclical. Don’t think of that, but also think of what you want to do for the rest of your life. Accounting is very hot right now though with the SOX law, there aren’t enough accountants. there is also almost always a demand for engineers. go to college and try to find what you like the first year, don’t decide on a major
i would suggest you pick a major that you enjoy. you might not even get a job related to your degree. i knew a man who got his degree in biosci and he now owns a bank.
