animals do have intelligence, but they aren’t whizzes at math.

most of the extensive animal learning experiments have been on chimps and the great apes. And they can count – but i don’t think they can manipulate the numbers.

calculus and physics have a lot of theory. If we compare a great ape to a human, the ape would need to be educated for about 18 years before they could get to non-calculus based physics. VERY few researches want to work on one experiment that long.

The short rule of thumb is that you can get chimps and apes to about the mental age of a 4 or 5 year old human.

I don’t have any information on the learning limits of ocean mammals.

I think if animals had invented some sort of technology that we’d know by now. Unless there’s some sort of secret animal society out there.

Hey, we need to stop looking for the lochness monster and look for the secret animal technological society.

they are intelligent but if you cannot make something like humans they will never advance and the reason is part of the brain is 1% different does not mean much but it really is a lot and we have digits
the closes animal to us is the chimps

The closer we look at a species of animal the more intelligent we find them to be but they are smarter in a different way so we see them as inferior because humans are naturally prejudiced towards what is different. The more understanding we have more of that prejudice slips away.

Animals are highly intelligent. Have you watched a seeing eye dog guide a blind person? Dogs can be trained to count. you need to read and research on dog intelligence.
