Need for Speed Shift lags when too many cars on the screen. In time trial and drift challenges, NFS Shift runs smooth as butter (40+FPS). But in races when there are too many cars on the screen the game lags like a brick (5 FPS!!). When the opponent cars disappears from the sight, the game starts to run fine again. My drivers are up-to-date (Catalyst version 12.6)
My specs are;
Intel Dual Core E5700 3.0GHz
2GB of DDR2 800MHz RAM
Radeon HD 5670 512MB GDDR 5
Windows XP SP3
I play this game at medium settings on 1280×760 resolution with Vsync turned off.

  1. Mr.SNAKE says:

    the resolution 1280×760 is too much for your computer specs. The processor is very old. The RAM is just 2 GBs I don’t think it’s enough plus it’s 800 MHZ only. The graphic card is also not very much. Sorry!
    Try to lower the resolution it might get smoother.
