Equine vet Matt Hanks from STV’s Vet School explains the benefits modern technology makes when treating sick animals.
System of teacher training & applying technology in Indian school teaching ,even at most basic level,is not at any par compared to that of Australia.I do not know how to get into this new system and become successful in getting a decent job and doing it full justice.I have been in Australia on PR for two days and now we have Easter. What are the agencies that can help me out? Is it possible to get some assistant/helper kind of job that might contribute towards some income as well as experience ?Can i use my qualification which is M.Ed,M.A.English,B.Ed in some allied field to settle in here. There is much more and i don`t know what to do?

You need to get accredited by the state you are in – so make an appointment with the Dep of Ed (could be a couple of weeks from when you call). Only once you have been registered (which could take a couple of months) can you apply for a teaching job here. You will also need to organise a police check for working with children (if you do not have one from India you will need to organise this now). It is different from the police check you needed for immigration – this check includes any “suspicion” of wrong doing related with children. Getting a job in education here will take several months – it is not going to happen in a couple of days (which is why you are advised to have 6 months living expenses with you when you immigrate)
