The film Man & Computer, made in 1965 by IBM’s UK branch, provides a basic understanding of computer operations. A large portion of the film shows the ways in which a computer can be simulated by five people using the standard office equipment of the day. The film employs a number of different techniques, including animations, and features a few brief scenes of an IBM System/360 in use—just months after the first machines were delivered. Starting in the 1940s, IBM became a major producer of films used for sales, training, documenting business processes, entertaining at company functions, and educating the public. Several IBM films were made by respected filmmakers and sometimes featured well-known actors.

to immigrate to Australia you must be formally skilled and experienced in an occupation on the skilled occupation list but i see you would not qualify even with a sponsor

you could get a 12 month work and holiday visa but with no qualifications it will never lead to a permanent visa for you.

To go to university in Australia would cost just as much if not more than in the usa as you would be an international student

Rules for people coming into Australia have really become more strict recently, where in many cases you will only qualify for a working visa or Australian citizenship if you have skills and experience in areas (particularly in medical fields) where there is a shortage of staff already.

You would be best reading the link below for the Australian Embassy in Washington, and calling them for more information on the possibilities. I could only guess, and the rules are changing all the time. Pay particular attention under the section titled “General Skilled Migration”… it sounds like that is what you are looking for – with work or study options.

Australia goes by the point system so the only way to get into the country is by having a rare skill. Such as being a doctor or something like that and quite frankly you dont have any rare or valuable skills.
