okay, i just got in a relationship yesterday and i’ve never been in one before so i don’t really know the ins and outs. i really don’t want to do anything to mess this up because she is a wonderful girl. we just had our first date yesterday, i know the basic things like treat her like gold but other things like how often should you go on dates and how often do you see her. i have no clue really so yeah any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks.
also, 3rd question, do you think its weird for a 17 year old boy to be dating a 13 soon to be 14 year old girl? a couple of my friends think its weird so, im just looking for opinions.

Well, for how often to see her, it can be as often as you’d like. Just keep in mind to still hang with your friends and family, and that if you hang with her only once a week (maybe even twice), it’ll keep the relationship fresh because you’d be so anxious to see her again, so the next time you see her, you two will be so happy to see each other. Know what I mean? That’s what my boyfriend and I do (we hang about once or twice a week), and we’re going onto 8 months tomorrow:)
For making any first moves, you might want to go slow so that you can make sure she’s comfortable with things. Don’t be afraid to ask her if she’s comfortable with something or not- make sure you two are open with each other. Maybe on the third date or so, you could briefly and gently put your arm around her waist when you two are walking somewhere. Don’t ever rush the first kiss- you want it to be special, and at the right time. You’ll know when it’s the right time. Just remember to always be yourself!:)
For the age difference question, I don’t think it’s weird, just really look into the age of consent laws in your state, just to be safe. My boyfriend and I are almost three years apart, and my friend and her boyfriend are 4 years apart (one was 14 while the other was 18). But yeah, just make sure you look into the laws and all that, cause really no one can afford to get in trouble with the law.
