I will enroll in my university degree tomorrow and I need to know why it’ll be a good idea to choose design theory for one of my subject compare to practical subjects. It involves writing a thesis e.t.c I’m paying a lot of money so I need to know it’ll worth it and it’ll some how help with my future plans.
Im a graphic designer and want to do web + marketing.

If you want to do a practical course like graphic design then it makes a lot more sense to do practical subjects. The only real reason to do a subject like design theory is if you want to go into research instead, which you obviously don’t want to do.
