Great processor, upgrade the graphic card and psu a ati hd 6850 and a antec true power 600 watt psu, most desktop motherboard integrated graphic are not good for gaming, also portal 2 takes a good graphic card to play, at looking at the mention specs gaming from low to medium settings
You’ll want a dedicated gpu.
As-is, that computer is not suitable for gaming because it lacks a real graphics card (the most important piece of hardware for playing games). It only has an integrated Radeon HD 3000, which is VERY low-end. No matter how good the other specs are, it would by bottlenecked by the integrated graphics.
By putting in a $ 50 graphics card like a Radeon HD 6450, your in-game fps would be over 5X higher. By putting in a $ 70 graphics card like a Radon HD 5670, your fps would be over 8X higher. Here are a couple of nice cards that don’t cost much:

With either of those, you’d be fine for playing the games you’ve mentioned.

You could easily swing the graphics card upgrade by getting the computer with just 4gb of RAM rather than 8gb.. No games require more than 4gb, so there’s no benefit to having that much RAM for gaming. You could even drop down to a Phenom II X4 955 or 945- you’d see almost no difference in gameplay. But you need a real graphics card.
For tougher games like Battlefield:BC2 you’d need a $ 120ish card like a Radeon HD 5770. But for TF2, Portal 2 and COD:MW2 on medium settings, a $ 60 card is fine.
get a motherboard that doesnt have integrated graphics on it and get a dedicated video ccard if you want to do video games. i recommend a gtx 400 series video card for the price and power for the first time. also upgrading to a higher wattage psu if your budget fits it for when you upgrade or run sli/crossfire.
everything is OK u got bigger RAM better CPU but that GPU reallly sucks remove it and put any ATI HD 5000 series grafics card if u want to play games like CRYSIS2 and DEUS EX
