ING has offered the most favourable price, however in the midst of the current financial crisis I have heard that their presence in Australia may come under threat. Fortune Telling.
Well, no one can predict the future accurately. However looking at the inevitable energy crisis, i would say either invest in a wind/solar power company and wait till those take off. Or be a Realtor, Unless something big happens that wipes out a significant portion of the earths population, we will make babies faster than people die, making a need for more housing.
golf..tennis..movie star…rock band….you specialize…and your good at it….you can make heaps of money…its not the job…its your talents
Have you ever heard of residual income? If not then it is money that keeps coming and coming and growing and growing!!!! If you really want to find something to make money in the long run check out the source link below. Also if you are about to start high school then have your parents check it out too. Good luck in high school, but dont stress on your future!
I actually work for a competitor, but I will happily tell you that ANY Australian insurer is a pretty safe bet. Australia now has the toughest insurance regulation anywhere in THE WORLD. I assume you are referring to the HIH collapse some years ago… times have changed a LOT since then
ING may or may not be thinking of withdrawing from the Aussie market… but under current laws they still have to keep assets in Australia sufficient to cover any liabilities.
There are proposals under discussion for a Compensation Scheme in Australia which will guarantee insurers the same as we have in the UK (yeah I’m a Pom working in Aus), but that’s probably a year or two off yet.
That aside, please take some comfort from the tough requirements in Oz…. dealing with this kind of thing is how I make my humble living and I would have no hesitation buying car insurance from ANY APRA authorised insurer.
No. And they told us 50 yr.s ago they would, shows you what they know.
